    Charlie Sheen was arrested Friday and is sitting in jail in Aspen, CO charged with two felonies and misdemeanor menacing.

    He won't be able to get out until his initial court appearence on Monday.

    I wonder what he got for Christmas? Two and a Half Men?

    Charlie Sheen was arrested in Aspen this morning for felony second degree assault, thus formalizing his challenge to grasp the 'horrible holiday 2009' crown from Tiger Woods' head.     So is this a new technical wrinkle for the hashmark strings? Replies don't automatically show up but instead we get a tiny little "See X replies" note to click on at the end of the comment?

    Apparently, before Brittany Murphy died, she finished a film called Deadline, in which she plays a writer who stays in a haunted house. Redbox is pulling promotional images of the film which feature, creepily enough, Murphy dead in a bathtub.

    These people are good! Using Madoff techniques to recruit. Tonight on Jesse Venura's "Conspiracy Theory" tv show, they feature the Infragard Program, a "public-private" initiative between the FBI and citizens. On the show, he tells you that it's by invitation only, but when you go to the website to check it out, they have easy links to click through for membership. You go through a screening process if you don't already possess clearance, but otherwise, it looks like they are just making it look exclusive. ID badges, "premium status."     Correction: The application says that one of the requirements for membership is:

    "...sponsorship from an existing InfraGard member, chapter, or partner organization"

    However, an applicant is allowed to attend open meetings during the application period, which will allow you to meet people and presumably find a sponsor.
